Fizzy Fairy Apothecary Pokeball Bath Bombs Review

A month and a few days ago, I ordered a set of two Pokeball bath bombs from this site and about a week ago, I bought a bar of soap from this site!  Today must have been my lucky day, because both bath goodies came today!  So, let's take a look at everything I got.

First of all, I got my two pokeballs.  Each one promises to have a tiny pokemon inside and to smell like Japanese Cherry Blossoms!  FizzyFairyApothecary makes a variety of bath bombs for all kinds of fandoms including Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Doctor Who, and the Avengers!  I'm really tempted to try out Loki next.  Mmmmmmmm.  She even sent me a sample for the net ball (which is the blue half).  I really wanted to get the full set, but I didn't have a full $25 to spend at the time, so I settled on my favorite scent.  Right now she's a bit swamped, but let's take a look at these bath bombs!

The bath bombs are nice and packed, so they stay together very well and don't fall apart when they are out of the packaging.  They also make a really beautiful pink color that lasts the entire bath and that the picture doesn't do justice to.  Finally, the little pokemon inside was about an inch tall and in the first one, I got a Hitmonchan!

For scale, I put it next to one of my oldest keychains (from the 90s I think), as well as one of the newer figures that you get in the TCG boxes (not on a stand).  He is surprisingly sturdy and able to stand on his own!  As of the smell, the bath was really great at first but (maybe because I'm stuffy), I couldn't smell it the rest of the time :(  My mother, however, said it smelled awesome so I'll take her word.  It also was a very nice texture and left me feeling smooth and refreshed ^^.  The price was $5.50 per ball and $6.00 for shipping, totaling $17.00.  Online, I'm seeing other bath bombs going for around $4.00 and up, with the recommended brand LUSH asking around $6.00 and up, so I feel like I got a good bang for my buck seeing as we have no shops in town that sell bath bombs and I got a cute little Pokemon inside!!!!!!  Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a bath, or the note said it works well if you cut them in half and set them in the shower too!

Finally, we have the soap.  I got the Waterlily Peony Moroccan Argan Oil Hand Soap (say that 5 times fast).  The soap did smell amazing, even through the packaging.  Inside, there will be a ring which the boast is worth $10 to $75,000! Woooooooooowwwwwwwwww!  More than likely, it'll just be a pretty piece of costume jewelry, which I always like.  The soap square is a total of 5 oz. and is surprisingly smooth and sturdy.  I took off the packaging and it had a similar consistency to clay.  I had the sudden urge to smash it and mess around with it but it's actually pretty dense!  I know a lot of people would say "cut it open and get the ring!" but instead, I'll just use it up and maybe remember to show you all the ring when I get down to it!

The soap cost $15.99 and shipping was $4.95 (with a 10% off coupon I think), totaling to $19.34.  This soap is admittedly much more expensive than others on the market, but it has the fun element of getting a ring inside, so there's that.  In the end, I'd be less likely to recommend this soap than others, but buying it also gave me some bonuses on a game that would be worth about $3-4, so that was nice.  If you'd like to take a gamble and see if you can get a cool ring, go for it!  (Also, you can tell them what ring size so it should fit!)  Once I use up mine, I should post some pictures of the ring I got and we'll see if it was worth it, but that shouldn't be for a while since this is a nice sized soap.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little review!  I know it's not on a game or anything, but I thought you might enjoy knowing what I'm up to!  Also, this weekend as soon as I can (most likely Friday night) I'll do a Minecraft Livestream to set off the spring break!  So keep your eyes open and I'll see you all soon!  Byeeeee!!  <3
