Lea and Logan
-Lea
 (2012 ish)

The sound of birds overhead woke me up from a sleep that seemed endless.  Cool, green grass brushed against my cheek.  I pushed myself onto my hands and looked myself over.  I was a girl…maybe…21?  22?  I…I can’t remember.  Good lord my boobs are giant….  All I had on was a plain, dirty, white shirt and a pair of torn jeans.  That was the first thing I remember.  I looked myself over, digging into my mind for some memory, some identification.  Where am I?  What is my name?  Who am I?  I dug in my pockets.  Maybe I have a wallet?  An ID?  Ug, only a wad of crinkled cash and a…playing card?  Weird… Why can I remember what those things are?

(2012/13)
“A-alright self…whoever I am….”  I looked at my forested surrounding.  Trees every inch and nothing but grass and green for what must have been miles.  I propped myself against a tree trunk and stared at my shoe-less feet.  “Ok…this is my voice.  Not bad…I speak English…ok good…must be in America!  AH-HA!  I remember geography!  Um…12 times 12 is 144 and stuff so math is good…uh…ok good.”  I smiled.  Obviously, I remembered the basics.  Now only if I remembered what mattered.
Just as I was starting to get up using a tree branch overhead, I heard a snap.  I turned fast.  Nothing.  I looked around the forest.  CRRRREEEAAAKKKK.  Metal?  In a forest?  I ran towards the sound, jumping over fallen logs.  After a bit, I ran to a paved road!  In the forest!!!  I got close then heard the creaking of metal again.  I dove behind a thick tree and peaked out, looking up and down the road.  To my right, there was a huge brick wall with a giant metal gate in the center and a small, bronze, circular plaque with an X in the center off to the side.  Standing at the gate was a man in a muscle shirt with black, weird as hell hair.  He had jeans and fancy shoes along with a huge belt buckle.  I saw something glint round his neck and slowly crept closer.  Maybe this weird stranger knew who I was.
As I got closer, I saw his head turn slightly towards me.  I instantly curled up and threw my hands over my face in a reaction.  He looked at me, or rather, through me.  He looked directly in my region and I could feel his eyes on me, but he saw nothing.  He turned back to the gate and began to walk through, but I had to follow him!  I moved my hands down and quickly snuck behind him.  SNAP.  A twig snapped under my foot and before I could even look down at my feet, the man swung his fist back into my face and once again threw me into the cold embrace of unconsciousness.
When I woke up again, I was in a plain white room, a hospital maybe?  There were wires connected to my slender, slightly tanned arms.  How long was I out in the sun?  Do I have a house?  A job?  A family maybe?  Was there…anyone out there who knew me?  Speaking of out there, where is there?!  Where is here?!  Just as I began contemplating all these things, a beautiful woman with pure white hair and sparkling blue eyes walked into the room.  Her skin was dark and she was tall and beautiful, maybe in her late 20s.
“Oh, you’re awake!”  She smiled.  Something inside me told me to run, and I listened.  I got up and instantly took off for the door.  My body took over as I did a flip over the woman.  I looked back as I was running and then at myself.  O-oh my god!  What had I done?!  I just did a flip!  Hell yes!  Maybe I was an acrobat!  Or a stunt woman!  I bet I was a ninja!  Then, SLAM!  I fell back and rubbed my head.
“O-ow!”  I looked up at the wall I hit.  Of course…it was Mr. Funny Hair.  He glanced down at me half glaring.  I shrunk back and crawled backwards away from him.  The white-haired woman came to me and helped me up.

X-Men Forge to the original in
the comics
“Logan!  Are you alright miss?”  I looked from her to the guy then back to her.  I was utterly speechless.  She looked me over then smiled gently.  “Come on.”  She led me to a large living room like place where tons of people of all sorts were sitting.  One had on this weird red visor while others sported strange sort of retro-style green and yellow or yellow and blue costumes.  I gasped when I saw two BLUE people.  They were literally blue and fuzzy!  Then there was also this HUGE buff guy in the corner, but he couldn’t have been over 20.  Just then a young man walked in the room.  In his hand he was polishing a greasy wrench.  He looked straight at me for a moment.  A pair of goggles sat all schweck on his head with his frizzy black hair.
“Who’s this?”  He smiled at me and wiped his gloved hand on his pants, then extended it to me.  “Hey.  I’m Forge.  Just found your powers huh?”  I stared at him vacantly and I’m sure I looked stupid, but slowly shook his hand.  He had a tight grip, almost cold.  He rubbed the back of his head and smiled adorably through his scruffy beard.
“U-uh…h-hello…”  I muttered.  I looked around and then to the Brick wall.  He was leaning on the doorframe looking at me then away as if he couldn’t care less.
“So, what are your powers?”  Forge smiled.  I looked back to him as he let go of my hand and shoved the wrench in a belt pocket.  I cocked my head to the side.
“P-powers?  Um…”  He looked at me.
            “You are a mutant right?”
“W-what’s…a mutant?”  He stared at me for a second then started to laugh and the others joined in.  I blushed brightly and shrunk away a little.
“A mutant is…someone who has jumped ahead on the human evolutionary scale.  Someone who has special abilities or skills.  What is your power?”  I crept over to the corner slightly afraid now.  My hands hit a potted tree behind me.  I was surrounded by “mutants,” people who could probably have ended my life then and there.  The guy with the visor frowned at me angrily.
“Look!  Are you a mutant or not?  We won’t hurt you!”  He stepped closer.  I flung my hands in front of my face like I had before and clenched my eyes shut.  THUD!
“O-oh crap….Oh my god I’m sorry!”  The man I had followed in laughed.
“You got knocked down by a plant Summers?  That’s just weak!”  I looked in front of me.
A vine had sprouted from the plant and had knocked the visor guy down.  The vine was pure plant, no string, no illusions.  It was like a spiraling, tightly woven green rope, floating in mid- air. I moved my hand back and the vine followed, suspended in the air.  I stared in shock and began to move my hand around.  The vine followed my every twitch as if it were a puppet on a string.  My hands shook as I stared at them.
“Cool!”  Forge ran up to me and looked me over.  He took my wrist and moved my arm about, having the vine follow.  “Fascinating!”  He was like a little kid.  He smiled at me and shook my hand.  The vine drooped back into the tree and disappeared into the leaves it had been before.   “Welcome to the X-Men!”
“That’s our group of mutants darling.”  Said the white haired woman.  “Now Forge, the poor girl has gone through enough today.  Tomorrow you can do the honor of showing her around.”  I smiled at him and he smiled back.
“Sure!  I’d love to!  Um…g-goodnight Ororo….uh…sleep well.”  He blushed and rubbed the back of his head.  Ororo smiled at him then led me up a flight of stairs and into a huge bedroom.  A giant fluffy bed sat in the middle of the room with a few poofy feather pillows.
            “T-thanks…”  I smiled at her.  Have I ever had a bed before?  I don’t think I have.
“No problem.  See you in the morning.”  With that, she walked out and shut the door behind her.  Out the window, I could see forest for miles and one puny tree inside the gated walls.  It was rather sad, that one little sapling.  Maybe with these new found abilities, I could do something about it.  I wondered if this place had been significant to me before.  No one here seemed to know me, so maybe not, but how did I get here?  Why this place for mutants?  Why?  My eyes slowly forced me to drift away to a restful sleep, in a soft bed, in a strange new world.

One minute...

Hey guys sorry, yesterday was hectic!  I had breakfast with my friends at B.o.B. at 10, got some stuff from Hot Topic and Barnes and Noble for an upcoming b-day, went to my Ywic training, went to my choir lesson, and then went to my sister's dad's house to play D&D for the first time!  I really liked it so I think I'll play more often.  My post of the story will be up tonight when I get to my hotel room.  My family and I are going to the horse races again.  I'm also preparing a little treat for you guys ^^  See you all tonight around....8 maybe?  Don't quote me on that.  For now, why not give some of my videos a view or check out some other posts about stuff!

Logan and I Part 1

Logan and I
-Lea
(2009-2011 ish)
♠♠♠
Lea's original outfit (2009)
I awoke in a deep, green forest on a calm morning.  It was cool and I could softly hear birds chirping above me.  Stumbling towards a clearing, I saw a man walking by in a white work-out shirt and jeans.  He was muscular and his hair was very different.  The only thought that came to mind was 2 follow him.  My mind was vacant of any other ideas; in fact….my mind was vacant of anything really!  Maybe he knew where I was….who I was.  I managed to get ahead of him trying to see his face, but I noticed he had seen me.  I threw my hands over my face in protection as I cowered on the grass.  The strangest thing happened then, I noticed he was looking right past me.  I looked at my hands and saw that he had walked on as if nothing had happened.  I continued to follow him to a large gate surrounded by a brick wall.  I saw a small plaque shining on the brick wall.  I leaned in 2 try and make out the small words engraved into the round, bronze colored plate with a big X in the center.  Just then, I step on a twig and in a flash the man threw back his fists and knocked me into the darkness known as unconscious once more.
When I woke up again, I was in a large white room on a bed.  Wires were attached to me and various equipment sat on a rolling side table.  As I sat up the door began to open.  A woman, maybe in her mid 20s, with long white hair and stunning blue eyes walked into the room.
“Hello, I see you’re awake.” She says.
I am awake…but who am I?  Well, incase you haven’t already realized, I AM a girl for starters, that I realized quickly.  But I couldn’t think of a single name, a memory, a status, anything.  Everything before awakening in the forest…was blank.  What had happened to me?  Who am I?  What is this place?  Nothing made sense, nothing came to mind.  I leapt over her to my own amazement and found my self running down a corridor full of busts and tapestries.  It felt natural to run, to be free.  Then, BOOM.  I crash into that man yet again and fell onto the carpeted floor.
“Ow….”  I rued my head and looked up to see his familiar face.  He seemed unfazed as I slipped my legs beneath me and stood.  He seemed almost angry as I stepped back cautiously.
The white haired woman suddenly grabs my arm from behind me and I squirmed to get free.
“Calm!  I do not wish 2 hurt you!” she says soothingly.  She had a lovely accent I was jealous of I’ll admit.  I stared at her and broke free with a burst of energy.  I looked from the man to her a few times.  I was trapped.  “Do u have a name?”  She asked sweetly.  I stopped.  A name…..hmm….
The woman took my arm again gently and calmly led me to a large room at the end of the hall way as if she had done it thousands of times.  I began to think about myself.  What do I look like?  What is my name?  Who I am?  Am I even really awake or is this all just a bad dream?  Many questions begin to fly through my mind.  I was led inside where I saw a bunch of other people.  One had on this weird red visor while others sported strange sort of retro-style green and yellow or yellow and blue costumes.  I gasped when I saw two BLUE people.  They were literally blue!  Then there was also this HUGE buff guy in the corner.  He looked friendly I guess.  Just then a young man walked toward me.  I assumed he was in his mid or late 20s, maybe very early 30s.  I’m not good at determining ages of other people, especially since I don’t know my own age.  He smiled and extended his grease covered hand.

“Hi. Forge’s the name.  Are you a mutant?”  I stared at him.  His hair was sort of spiked and he had a cute smile that seemed friendly enough.  “And what is your name?  We are all curious as to how u got past our defenses.”  Defenses?  Do they mean the guy?  “U already met Wolverine.”
I slowly look from him to the guy I followed in.  He was leaning against the door frame as if he could care less who I was or why I was here, I could tell he just wanted me gone.
“We are the X-Men.  You must be a mutant to have avoided being attacked by him a sec ago.”  Interrupted the man called Forge.
            “What is a mutant?”
He began to laugh and the others joined in.  I felt my cheeks get hot red.
We won’t hurt u!”  He stepped closer.
I moved my hand back and the vine followed, floating in the air.  I stared in shock and began to move my hand around.  The vine followed my every twitch as if it were a puppet on a string.
“Yep, she’s a mutie.  Just like us.”  I heard a girl say to someone in the crowd of people.  The blond girl looked at me.
“My name is Ororo darling.  Come on, you must be confused and exhausted.  Let me show you to your room.”  She led me upstairs to a room with a large bed and plenty of room for anyone.  I felt like she was trust worthy so I didn’t fight her again.  Had I ever had a bedroom before?  It felt like I hadn’t.  After some exploring and learning about where I was, along with practicing my new found plant-y powers, I soon decided sleep was a good option and let myself drift off in the soft bed.
The next morning, as I walked into the main room, (the one at the very entrance ya know?) everyone was there again.  They had already been talking for a while I could tell.  Forge looked at the man he had called the Wolverine.
“Hey…Wolverine…why don’t u take her with u to talk 2 Warren?  Maybe she can stop u from killing him this time.”  I gulped as the Wolverine snarled and then I saw something strange.  Three metal…what appeared to be claws, jut out from his knuckles and up 2 Forge’s throat.  I gasped and I heard a girl shout,
“Wolverine!  Put em away!  Ur scaring her!”
“N-no….they are…beautiful.”  I stammered.  He saw me in the doorframe and pulled them in.  He snarled and walked out of the room.  Forge nodded for me to follow.  I liked that Forge guy…but what was up with his arm and his leg?!
I ran after Wolverine through the doors.  He looked at me then forward again.       “You got a name kid?”  His voice was strong and almost emotionless. I looked over at him and blushed.
“Um…”  I stammered.  He just continued looking ahead and walking looking un-impressed and slightly annoyed.
Another awful attempt at dresses
“What, you forgot?”  I looked down.  It was true.  Then his eyes changed.  I saw a flash of understanding cross his face then disappear in a blink of an eye.
“You don’t remember…do you?”  I shook my head.
“I just wake up in a forest, find you, and end up here….with a black eye.”  I turn again to look at him sarcastically.  He seems unfazed again, but there is a gentler touch 2 him than before.  He looked forward intently and I followed behind him.
“So, what are we gonna call you?  We can’t just say you all the time.  Well, I can, I do that anyway,
but the others are so picky.”  I paused.  I search for a name.  One I know.  One I will remember forever.  One came to mind.
            “Leanasta.”  WTF mind?!  Leanasta?  Really?
“What?  Where did u get that?”
“Um…You can call me…Chameleon…or um…Lea...I guess.”  I had been told of how each “X-Man” has a real name and their mission name, so there was mine…ready to go after I magically hid from the Wolverine.  Wow mind….just wow.  He could see my confusion and he returned the look.  “I…don’t have a last name though…”  He looked away then.
            “Then you are not alone.”
He never looked at me but at his hands.
“So,” I say after a moment’s silence.  “I’m…a mutant?”  He looked at me in confusion and irritation.
“Yes, of course you are a mutant, I’m a mutant, heck, we’re all mutants here!  That’s why we’re here.  A man named Charles Xavier, the headmaster and leader of the X-Men formed the school before I got here…”  I stared at him, intrigued.
“You don’t seem like a social or group kind of person.”  I said with maybe a little to much interest.  He looked at me.
“I came to find my past.”  I looked forward and blushed again.
“W-what do I look like?”  He sighed and looked at me.
“Look kid, I’m only bringing u so Forge won’t go off and make some sort of magnet.  Now just shut up and come on would ya?”  I had no clue what he was talking about.

There you have it my lovely people.  The first segment of Logan and I as it appears.  I hate it...I hate it so much...But I love you guys so you get to see my suffering!  Everyone starts somewhere and no one should be ashamed of having a simple start!  Check back tomorrow to see the 2012 version!

Days of Lea's Past

Hello hello my lovely people!  Today was....crazy.  I had to register for college and I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of papers and classes.  However, yesterday the Tinker and I went to see the lovely X-Men Days of Future Past.  I was surprised by how much I liked it!  As a kid, I watched Wolverine and the X-Men, which followed the same plot!  I loved the show so much, it formed the basis for Lea.  Her world took place in a combination of the movies and the show and this film did a pretty great job of hitting me right in the nostalgia, unlike First Class which I hated.  A few blaring issues bothered me and the movie felt a bit long, but over all, good.  Now, in honor of this.......I've decided to make a horrible mistake and...................

Post the first segment of the original Logan and I story.

Now, let's get some stuff straight here.  First of all, the original story was written in 2009.  Since then the beginning especially has gone through many MANY iterations.  It wasn't until...2012 or 13 I think that I completely trashed the original and began writing anew.  Lea's outfit was redesigned and her story was revamped.  Now, since that, I have yet to finish the extended Lea story or rewrite any of the original stories.  This section here was probably written between 2009 and early 2011 so this is by no means the very first version.  The picture accompanying it was drawn in 2009.  The story itself was much shorter, only 24 pages total including between chapter pictures.  The story was much more shallow with a weird present tense at times, not just in Lea's thoughts as it later was used.  There was little to no character development or real description of what Lea even looked like until halfway through!  Plus....the grammar.  However, the story is a bit different than other fanfics in one way; to this day it is told in stories rather than in one giant book.  Lea  and Logan is only their first adventure.  This post a year ago with the release of The Wolverine shows a portion of a now scrapped back story that was a separate "book."

Tomorrow, I will post the first segment of the newest version: Lea and Logan

As I mentioned, this version began a year or two ago and therefore is unfinished and I haven't visited it in quite a while, so even the beginning is not the highest quality.  However, I have a horrible habit of editing and never progressing.  It will be accompanied by the updated outfit!  This part is still in a transitional phase, trying to figure out if Lea's thoughts need to be italicized or not.  Leave your thoughts in the comments! Now, why am I doing this?  Just for your entertainment and so you can see a glimpse of how stupid I was back as a little 8th grader.  I'd love some constructive criticism!  Without further ado, see the next post to indulge in the horror.
